Our grand-grand parents worked hard all week: growing wheat, vegetables, animals and bird for sale and visited farmer's market on the weekend to sell, buy, wonder around. This must be embedded in human genes, since market still is a heart of a community, wherever that community resides. The Farmer's Market is a popular place to buy produce, crafts, socialize with friends/family, wonder around.
Of course, younger generation spends quite some time online and less time socializing with each other in real time. There is no doubt, Amazon grows online shopping business year by year. We also noticed every big box store has self checkout, most businesses have online order/shop feature, minimizing human to human interaction. It is unknown yet if this new digital era will globally change humanity into less social, readily following instructions masses. I hope that humanity will pass this stage and evolves into united society with united conscious. The communication will be still important, but it might take different a form.
However, the Farmer's Market is still a heart of the community and attracts a lot of people. There is something for everyone: produce, crafts, bread, baking, flowers. Take a look for yourself!
I wanted to reach out to all my readers- please make it down to Farmer's Market and connect to people in your community. This is what makes us happier and brighter on all levels! How can you miss an opportunity to exchange news, opinions with other people? There is so much to see and explore!
